I recently read a blog (link provided below) on how to pick your online school. The article provide some good advice but omitted a few things.
First I will cover the things they touched on in the article. They discussed tuition, reimbursement, scholarships, books, etc. These are probably or should be on top of everyone list. The second most important thing was involving your family in this decision to pursue an online education. Extremely important to have that support. I did....
Now to a couple of things they did not mention. Online library. I am sure most schools must have one but what does it contain and what is the access to other sources. Also, accreditation whether it is national or regional. This make a difference if you want to attend another school or pursue a higher degree. Some regionally accredited schools will not accept degrees from nationally accredited schools. So this important.
I earned degrees at both types of schools so I know the trials and tribulations.
Tell me what you think. Here is the link, see for yourself. http://blog.grantham.edu/blog/bid/147945/
