Plagiarism.
Now since I am new to this world of blogging and writing and publishing on the web, I have done just a little bit of actual reading on the process. One thing I found interesting was an article I found on a "edublog" site I have linked.
It discussed the trouble an 11 year old blogger found himself in years down the road after the owner of a photo they cut/copied/pasted on their blog page. The owner did not like the fact that his/her work was not properly recognized and order the user take it down.
The moral of this story is to use caution on where and what resources you use or it could cost you.
Wow, I would have never "thunk it." As an intelligence Marine who had give hundreds of daily briefs to commanders we downloaded "googles" of photos etc. Should we have paid or received permission first before downloading and implementing in our brief? From this story, we probably should have but in the interest of National Security......
Technology, gone stone mad!
