There are many emerging technologies that will make
education more attainable and teaching more efficient. Annually there are new tools being introduced
that will increase the capabilities of both educator and learner.
After reading and doing some research, I will focus my
efforts on two specific technologies that I think go hand in hand, personal
learning environments and cloud computing.
Personal Learning Environments (PLE) is more of an approach
or process that is individualized as a matter of practice is specific from
person to person. Additionally, cloud
computing is a web based tool that allows student and educators the ability to
collaborate online with minimal resources, thus saving money.
Together cloud computing and PLE process will engage
students in a user (financially) friendly environment making learning easier
and more cost effective.
